Nollywood actress and media personality, Toke Makinwa, has boasted that she won’t adjust her lifestyle regardless of the country’s economy.
Nigeria is currently facing its worst hardship in recent years with some citizens gearing up to protest over the worsening economic hardship and poor governance.
In a viral video, Makinwa boasted that she would never settle for less despite the poor economy.
In the video, she could be heard saying; “I told you, all my friends and loved ones in this season, no matter how tough the economy of the jungle gets, the lion will never eats grass. We are the children of the lion of the tribe of Judah. Do you know what that means?
“I don’t care what the economy is saying, we don’t settle for less. Do you know who our father is? We get backing.”
In a related post, Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has reacted to criticism of his relationship with his second wife, Judy Austin.
Yul, in a viral post on Instagram, stated that he and Austin’s happiness is causing discomfort to their critics.
Sharing their loved-up photo, Edochie wrote in pidgin and English; “Our progress and happiness dey pain so many people. It’s giving them sleepless nights. That is why they keep coming up with all sorts of lies against us, they are now paying people to lie against us.
