Residents of Berekum Worried Over Breakdown of Fire Thunder and Ambulance Vehicles to Save Lives.

The people of Berekum Municipality in the Bono Region are worried over the breakdown of fire thunder and ambulance vehicles in the Municipality.

According to the residents, they cannot cope with the current situation the town is going through when it comes to emergency services.

Speaking to the residents, they said the rate at which fire is destroying properties in Berekum has become unbearable all because of the ineffective breakdown of the Ghana National Fire Service fire thunder vehicle.

They again condemned the situation where their constituency ambulance has also been damaged over an accident it encountered in transporting a patient last year and the residents have raised concerns about their emergency services being rendered worthless.

On the various Berekum radio station platforms and discussions, the people have therefore called on the government and the Minister of Interior as a matter of urgency to respond to the emergency crises the people of Berekum are going through in the Municipality.

Speaking to the officers of Berekum National Fire Service, they explained all effort to bring back the fire thunder into operation since November 2022 has proven futile and are still working to help bring the fire thunder into good shape since engineers are on it working to find the fault of the breakdown of the vehicle.
