Retain our DCE –Dormaa West assembly member pleads on Akufo-Addo

The Assembly member for Dormaa West District, Madam, Bright Owusu has appealed to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to consider the good work done by Madam Mary Ameyaa, the District Chief Executive Officer (DCE) of the Dormaa West District, and retained her.

According to the Assemblymember, their DCE has performed extremely well in his first term and optimistic that will do even much better for the area if she is maintained.

Addressing a press Conference at Nkrankwanta the capital of the Dormaa West District, the Assemblymember on behalf of some Assembly Members, Mr. Bright Owusu stipulated that changing DCE will cause a delay in the development and progress of the area considering the services she has rendered to the district since her appointment 4 years ago.

They mentioned that the district has benefited from a construction of staff Bungalow for teachers and health workers, one story building meant for the police station, Classroom blocks, fire service station among others, all projects under the reign of the DCE, therefore they are calling on the President of the Public of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the NPP government to retain her.

In addition to this, some of the Residence of the District who spoke to SN24 News said the DCE has established a cordial relationship between NDC and NPP in the area and that unity is strong between them.
