Four suspected thieves have been reportedly arrested for breaking into the home of Ghana’s vice president, Mahamadu Bawumia.

Joy News reported that the Police has confirmed the incident, with four persons suspected to be part of a gang that perpetrated the act arrested. The incident happened in the vice president’s home in Walewale in the North East region as four other houses in the town according to the Police were also robbed by the gang that same night.

The intruders broke the out part of the wall before gaining entrance to the compound.

Kombat Joe, a victim of the robbery has told that the robbers made away with several items, including laptops, mobile phones, flat screen televisions and fridges.
