Founding member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Alhaji Mohammed Saani has called on all party members to calm down on the recent issues against Sammy Gyamfi, an act he fears could give way for the New Patriotic Party to propagate their evil agenda against the NDC party.

According to him, Sammy Gyamfi the National Communications Officer for NDC did nothing wrong by saying some representatives of the party in parliament betrayed the party.

It could be recalled that the minority in parliament on the vetting committee earlier rejected some nominees by President Nana Addo. These ministers were rejected after the minority described them as unfaithful and unfit for the job.

The shocking news that made the trend was when the same minority made a U-turn by giving such ministers a huge endorsement.

Sammy Gyamfi who was not pleased with the minority U-turn described their act as selfish and betrayal on the great NDC party.

Sammy's comment sparked controversy in the party as many supporters heavily descended on him for disrespecting the members of parliament and the speaker, Rt.  Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin.

Reacting to the development, Alhaji Saani told SN24 News that it is unnecessary to attacking each other at the party.

He said it's very wrong for the party faithful to dirty themselves at the expense of incompetence NPP.

He described Sammy Gyamfi as a courageous leader youth whose examples are needed in the party to make it very strong.

However, he has called on the party members to forgive these parliamentarians who betrayed the party.

He has as well called on these parliamentarians to prove their love for the party by going tough on Ken Ofori Atta who is left unvented.

According to him, the finance minister-designate is one of the people who have disappointed the country and have so many questions to answer. He said Ken doesn't deserve to be given the nod.

"I bet on our great Parliamentarians to prove faithfulness for the party by going tough on a major thief Ken Ofori Atta who's very dangerous should he be given the nod again", he said with seriousness.
