The international mission’s director of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Gyesi-Addo has called on politicians to seek political offices to serve the people but not their own interest.

According to him, some politicians only seek office to create wealth for themselves rather than serving the people who gave them the mandate to rule them.

“It is a high time we redefined our political issues and make it attractive to other nations,” he stated.

He indicated that, if really all politicians can have the heart and the willingness to serve the people, then there is no need to attack each other on social media and airwaves just in the name of freedom of speech.

He called on all citizens to ponder over words position seekers come to them with.

Apostle Emmanuel Gyesi-Addo however called on all politicians to leave in peace with each other no matter their political affiliations.

He added that “we are living in a tribulation. Covid-19 has caused a lot of inconvenience to our daily activities including health, Education, economy among others.”

He, therefore, urged Ghanaians to deepen their faith in God amidst pandemic coronavirus.

“We must therefore not take God for granted because God matters in all aspects of lives and we must learn to live in harmony with each other as a country.”

Apostle Emmanuel Gyesi-Addo was speaking at the 2021 Pastors and Wives Conference organized by The Church of Pentecost, Oti and Volta Chapter, in Ho Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC).

The Conference which was meant to equip Pastors and their wives was attended by about 450 pastors and wives with strict Covid-19 protocols observed.
