The Guardian has reported that talks between the two parties have progressed well and an agreement in principle for the 43-year-old has been completed to take over Jose Mourinho’s spot, the manager who has succeeded him at Roma.

Talks with former Inter Milan coach, Antonio Conte broke down after concerns over the Italian’s wage demands and whether he would commit to blooding young players.
