The family of the late Alfred Kwarteng Asante affectionately called Ras Tenee urged the health officials to have respect for all manner of people irrespective of their background.

The Sunyani Municipal Hospital has rendered an apology to the family of the late Alfred Kwarteng Asante, affectionately called Ras Tenee who died at the facility.

Speaking during the press conference organized by the hospital, Reggae Lovers and the family, the Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr Robert Arko explained that the incident is unfortunate since they always make customers first priority.

According to the management of the hospital, the late Alfred Kwarteng Asante was given the needed care when he was admitted therefore his sad demise was not intentional.

Dr Robert Arko said, the hospital will try its possible best to improve its services so that people will continue to believe in them.

The family of the demise had raised a lot of concerns with regards to how their loved one lost his life during treatment at the facility. 

Accepting the apology of the Hospital Management, the parents of the late Alfred Kwarteng Asante also poured their heart during the press conference.

They urged the health officials to have respect for all manner of people irrespective of their background.

Leader of the Reggae Lovers Club, the club that has been championing justice for their deceased member Ras Tenee, who they believed died out of negligence by the health officials, Annor Gyan a.k.a Ras Andy Muller also advised that the death of their club member should serve as a good precedent for the hospital to make reform so that other patients will not suffer the same fate.
