Dr Hafiz Bin Salih implored the striking lecturers to consider a round table discussion with the stakeholders involved in resolving their issues instead of going on strike.

The Upper West Regional Minister, Dr Hafiz Bin Salih has expressed dissatisfaction over the poor performance of students at the Senior and Junior High School level.

He raised concerns that Government has made a lot of investment in the educational sector in the area as compared to other regions.

The worried Minister indicated that though the region was deprived of better educational infrastructure, final year students at those days performed excellently.

He charged school authorities to find means of changing the present narrative.

The Principal of Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education, Hajia Asma-u Ismail admonished her students to start planning for their future as they are joining the world of business, Injustice, exploitation, poverty and corruption.

At the school 5th congregation ceremony, she bragged that the college recorded its First Class in 2015 when she took over in 2014.

The Deputy Director for the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) Dr Ahmed Jinapor Abdulai called on Members of TUTAG and other Union's to stop using strike actions to press home their demands.

A total of 743 students of the Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education graduated at the 5th congregation ceremony over the weekends.
