Reggae Lovers Club, a Sunyani based club is demanding answers from the Sunyani Municipal Hospital for neglecting to mistreat and overdose one Alfred Asante Kwateng also known as Ras Tenee, a 40-year-old father of three, Musician and a club member who met his untimely death after complaining of severe lower abdominal pain radiating from the testis.

At the press conference organized by the club in Sunyani, the Founder of the Club Mr Annor Gyan also known as Ras Andy Muller said they want the Sunyani Municipal Hospital to come out with a similar press engagement to explain to the public what was the diagnostic report and the disease condition the diseased was suffering from.

He expressed displeasure in the unpleasant comment made by some of the nurses he was in their care saying he was neglected because of his dreadlocks as the Hospital denied the plea of the family to get him refused to a deferent facility to have him operate on after it was confirmed to a sister that the Doctor in charge of the surgery had travelled to Kumasi for Easter holiday.

He further asked the government and policy makers of the education sector to "stop discriminating against our culture of wearing dreadlocks but rather opted for foreign and artificial hairs."

Ras Andy Muller added that Prophet Samuel and many of the Biblical Characters were wearing dreadlocks as a sign of separation unto God and also the Ashanti queen Yaa Asantewaa and most heroes of Africa wore dreadlock therefore the society must recognize people with dreadlocks not as criminals.
