You Are Nobody For Kpone Katamanso NDC Executives To Tell You Their Grievances--MP Joseph Akuerteh Tettey Bares Teeth At Journalist 

National Democratic Congress (NDC)Member of Parliament (MP) for Kpone Katamanso Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Honourable Joseph Akuerteh Tettey has done unthinkable when he verbally attacks and hauls insult on the journalist without any wrong doing.

The Kpone Katamanso legislator has attacked
 the media practioner when he contacted him to seek his clarification on the allegations of neglect, selfish, greedy and incompetent levelled against the MP by some aggrieved polling station, branch executives and ward coordinators including the suppoters and members of the NDC in the constituency.

With just 11 days to go before Ghana's general election, some aggrieved polling station, branch executives, ward coordinators, suppoters and members of the NDC in the Kpone Katamanso have voiced out their long unending grievances by way of accusing Honourable Joseph Akuerteh Tettey.

The NDC polling station, branch executives and ward coordinators were alleged to have been ignored and neglected by the legislator in all of their activities, which the group claimed are unethical and against party rules and regulations.

They described Honourable Tettey as a "selfish and greedy" MP the Kpone Katamanso has ever had in its political history, saying that they had lacked proper logistics to run their political activities effectively to support the party in the incoming Saturday December 7,2024 general elections.

The aggrieved executives and supporters of the NDC in the constituency have threatened to vote skirt and blouse in the 2024 general elections.

They claimed that the MP has not effectively championed and supported the activities of the polling station, branch executives and ward coordinators, citing specific grievances such as the perceived neglect of the social welfare of the members and executives of the NDC in the constituency.

According to them, it is very known that they have been sacrificing themselves to carry out many party's activities in the area without any proper support from their MP and that lack of proper logistics support to carry out their political activities, preventing them to engage the constituents effectively on the NDC's policies and strategies, which they believe will hinder the chances of the party in the incoming Saturday December 7,2024 general elections.

But when this journalist contacted the MP to respond to a number of allegations levelled against him by the supporters and executives of the party, Honourable Tettey did not spare the journalist and executives of the party.

However, when the journalist posed a number of questions to the MP that is it true that he has neglected the branch executives, coordinators and polling executives in carry their political activities as being claimed by them, the legislator in angry tone responded that;" these are nonsense talk."

He stressed that those executives who are making these false allegations against him are nonsense.

"This is a total nonsense...this is absolutely nonsense. Whoever tells  you this nonsense is a coward. Tell these persons to call me myself to complain if they are not coward. This is absolutely nonsense, l don't know you, who are (referring to this journalist), but l am telling you that this is nonsense. 

"Whoever tells you these allegations, let that particular person calls me himself. Those ward coordinators, branch executives and polling station executives who are telling these things, let them personally call me themselves...let them call me themselves," the MP mad at the journalist via telephone interview by the journalist to seek his clarification on the allegations levelled against him.

In an attempt to calm down the MP has rather made him to get upset throwing more fire on the media practioner.

The MP went on to state that: "the works or campaigns l am doing in the constituency are very massive and every morning l go to walk and engage the constituents. This morning l went to walk to do my community engagement,  this evening by 3:00 pm, l am going to continue the community engagement so what do they want from me again.

"What relationship do they want..."what relationship do they want, what is needed was that l am on the ground working. Tell them whoever is saying that the person should call me via telephone if he is not a coward. Enough is enough of this nonsense.

This can happen and so what. I am telling you that l am on the ground working. Are those executives not working for the party. Who needs logistics and and that person calls me and l did not get the logistics for him or her. 

According to the MP, the he work we are doing now which is the community engagement, l have spent GH₵ 120,000,00 to get a sound system, assking that  if you are doing a walk what do need apart from sound system.? 

He pointed out that "What do you need. If you are doing community engagement what do you need. What you hire chairs and seat when l come and the community engagement l have paid you before l leave the venues. So what do they want me to do for them again."

He added that "Has executives told you that they have organised a programme and approached me and l did not support them, asking that it that what they told you... Is that what they told you."

The aggrieved Honourable Tettey dared the journalist that "If someone has seen some of you to go and report, tell them l am on the ground doing my works, adding that "Why are you asking me questions that am l wining the Kpone Katamanso parliamentary seat for the NDC in the 2024 general election.?

"Master why are you asking me those questions. If somebody had contracted you to come out of these types of allegations and false information, go ahead, l am not interested but the day of 2024 general elections would show who wins or who did not win," the MP in angry voice tone stated.

He continued by daring the journalist that 
"I am telling  you that go and tell those executives who are saying l am not supporting them to call me themselves. If they are saying that they are executives in the area, what are contributions to my campaigns in the area.

According to him, these branch executives are not doing anything to support his campaigns in the area, warning them to shut up.

The MP stated that those branch executives 
were not even mobilising people or organising  meetings to engage the constituents, addingthat If you say you are a journalist what is your interest in these issues. 

"Who are you. In our party structure what is your roles (referring to this journalist) for those people to come to you and be feeding you with this information and you think it is true. Who are you...I challenging you that who are you. If the branch executives, ward  coordinators and polling station executives have problems is it you, a journalist that they should come and complain to. Don't they have the constituency organiser?.

"Are they not have an constituency organiser. 
 For what reasons these executives would tell the journalist about grievances for the journalist to publish or for him to address their issues. Or for the journalist to do what. My brother you are nobody, and that l want to tell you that come to the ground and see yourself the works we are doing. 

"You cannot be somewhere and the people 
would just come to tell you what they want.
 So l am telling you that you don't have capacity 
to interrogate me on these issues and if you want to know what are happenings in my area, come to the ground," the MP bares teeth at journalist.

He stresed that let those people rather report their grievances to the appropriate headquarters within the party and not to the journalist.

The MP fumed that "I don’t even know you....l don't even know you. Who are you and what roles did you play in the NDC for these executives should come to you to report their grievances to you. If these people are trying to feed you on these negativities, come to the ground and see things yourself the works that  we are doing in Kpone Katamanso constituency, which is the most populous community in this country. 

According to him, they have a total number
of 417,000 population of people in Kpone Katamanso that what were were give the status of Metropolitan Assembly.

He indicated that "Our population is even double of that of Ashaiman. You are no body because so far as our party structure is concerned l did not know you."

"And you are nobody.I am not greedy and selfish person as being claimed by these executives in their statement to you.What they doing at their various branches to help me and party to retain the seat,"? he asked, adding that Master l don't have time for these false allegations," the MP stated.
