5 In critical condition in a Cargo Truck accident at Awutu Beraku
Residents have appealed to the Ministry of Highway as well as the District Assembly to create road diversion in other to reduce the rampant accidents.

Five people have sustained various degrees of injuries in an accident at Awutu Beraku in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region.
This sad incident happened early this morning as a cargo car with the registration number GX 4558-19 was fully loaded with toilet rolls.
In an interview with some eyewitnesses, they averred that the cargo car was on a tough speed descending from Bontrase direction to join the main highway when the driver suddenly lost control of the steering before it somersaulted and injured five people.
They have therefore appealed to the Ministry of Highway as well as the District Assembly to create road diversion in other to reduce the rampant accidents.
Moreover, the Awutu Beraku District Police Commander, ASP Joshua Samenyo also confirmed the incident to the media and noted that the five victims have been admitted to Awutu Beraku Health Center for treatment.
