The incident involves a Toyota hiace vehicle with a registration number AS 2889-19, which was onboad from Dunkwa heading to Kumasi and a trailer vehicle with a registration number AS 468-S, which was from Anwiankwanta highway heading to Obuasi.

An fatal accident that occurred Sunday, April 28th, at Dadwen, a suburb in the Adansi North District of the Ashanti region, had claimed 6 lives and left 14 in critical condition.
The incident involves a Toyota hiace vehicle with a registration number AS 2889-19, which was onboad from Dunkwa heading to Kumasi and a trailer vehicle with a registration number AS 468-S, which was from Anwiankwanta highway heading to Obuasi.
Eyewitness account indicates that the Toyota hiace was on top speed and could not control the vehicle after it veered off from his lane crashing with the long vehicle at Dadwen.
As a result,14 persons out of the initial 20 persons onboard in the Toyota vehicle, including kids, survived with injuries, 5 died on the spot whilst one of the injured died at the AGA hospital a few hours after admission.The driver of the trailer vehicle, including his mate, also survived 
Speaking with Shaft FM monitored by Soireenews.com, eyewitness stressed how the situation occurred. 
However, Mercy Mensah, whose sister died in the accident, is pleading to the general public for assistance in taking care of two kids who survived in the accident.
