Following the series of dangerous earthquakes hitting Turkey and Lebanon claiming valuable lives notably Ghanaian player, Christian Atsu and others, there are calls for evacuation back home.

A Ghanaian resident in Lebanon Cassandra Nana Ama Nhyira speaking in an interview with Ambassador TV monitored by some media platforms revealed that “scores of Ghanaians are stranded in Lebanon and are struggling to even get to a sleepingg place". “Due to what happened to Christian Atsu after the earthquake in Turkey, we are seriously afraid and the majority of us are willing to come back home”, she revealed. “Last two weeks, we experienced a dangerous earthquake in Lebanon and today there has been another Earthquake,” she said. "As I’m talking to you now, the government of Lebanon has announced to us that there will be another Earthquake so we have been forced to go out for our safety” she explained “Over 100 Ghanaians in Lebanon are ready to come back to Ghana but they don’t have money for air tickets and these people have been stranded with no hope”, she lamented Cassandra appealed to the government to evacuate Ghanaians who have been stranded in Lebanon to avoid any unwanted disaster.
