The Assin Fosu Latter Day Saint church was thrown into a state of mourning when a 27-year-old woman, Catherine Ansah is popularly known as Maame Yaa, a professional teacher was found dead in her late mother's room.

The lady was seen hanging in her room with a sponge strangling her neck.

Before her demise, she wrote her Bank Account Number and Bible quotation on a sheet of paper and left them behind. 

Speaking to Central Regional Soireenews correspondent, Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful, the grandmother of the deceased Ante Mary said, the late Maame Yaa came from her station at Mankessim Nkwanta to undergo treatment due to a short illness.

She continued that the lady became healthy.

The Grandmother revealed she has no clue as to what led to her death and was amazed to find her dead in her late mother's room.

The Assin Fosu Police Command has conveyed the body to the morgue and open investigation into what led to her dismissal.
