A Good Omen For NPP Victory In 2024 Andrew Dwomoh Osei Writes

"Coming events always cast their shadows." So does the popular adage go, and so is it significant for members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), given the circumstances surrounding this year's internal elections. 

The chaotic sights of the prelude to the polling stations elections do not just predict a gloomy future for the NPP. They also expose a  weak and ailing party administration that must be replaced. 

A political party that is bent on reclaiming its control of Parliament by a landslide, and retaining political power for consecutive years beyond two terms of eight years, ruins its prospect of success to go about its internal elections in such an almost unruly manner?

"Nature has a way of predicting the future without a seer, soothsayer, or an oracle. The problem does not lie in the dangers ahead, but humanity's inability to learn from nature and experience."

Suppose we were caught unawares, the outcome of the 2020 general elections was a reflection of a serious dent on the image of the NPP following a similar rowdy manner in which internal elections were conducted the years before. Do we wait until we are in opposition before we think of a change? No! 

The current developments within the party are a good omen for victory 2024. Yes! They teach us the way forward. They call for a change! They invite a competent, innovative, disciplined administrator like Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua to put things right to make the NPP attractive to win elections.
