The Regional Minister and the District Chief Executive (DCE) as part of their tour paid a courtesy call to the Traditional authorities in the area and the contractor working on that stretch of the road.

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Honourable George Boakye together with the Asunafo South District Chief Executive, Honourable Abuse Poku has toured the ongoing road construction of Nhwenne, Marfokrom, Mintumi, and Durowaakrom in the constituency.
The Regional Minister and the District Chief Executive (DCE) as part of their tour paid a courtesy call to the Traditional authorities in the area and the contractor working on that stretch of the road.
The tour made paved the way for the contractor to also be unveiled to the various communities to allow him to identify the various communities he is going to work with.
The 31.6km road from Larbikrom to Durowaakron is being worked on by Precise Homes and Construction Limited and the road is expected to see an asphaltic surface within the next 7 months according to the Regional Minister.
The Regional Minister encouraged the community members to be of support to the contractor on the road project in the area.
He finally added that all the necessary assistance is being given to the contractor by the government to complete the road on time but called on all the people to be calm till the road is finished.
