Berekum East MCE son hospitalized after irate party youth attack.

The son of Honorable. Kofi Adjei, the Municipal Chief Executive(MCE) for the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region was affected and injured during the attack at his father's residence by unknown irate party supporters.

The MCE's son has since been admitted to the Holy Family Hospital for treatment after he was victimized during the attack. 

It could be recalled that some irate supporters of the party in the Berekum East Constituency 2 days ago who were denied the polling station nomination forms vandalized the party's office and continued the attack at the MCE residence smashing the windscreen of his private car and other properties. 

According to the irate supporters, because they were denied the polling station forms and could not find any place to buy the forms and don't know where to get some of the forms to buy resulted in their decision to cause the commotion in the Constituency.
According to them, they did draw the attention of the party's National and Regional leadership for their assistance. 
The picking of nomination forms by qualified party members has been greeted with lots of controversies at the various constituencies in the Bono Region.  Last Monday, the party office in Berekum East Constituency was vandalized by some irate party folks who suspected foul play.
Meanwhile, the party leadership in the Region has assured to ensure calm whiles ensuring the perpetrators are brought to book.
