Bono East Minister assures Sene East and West teachers adequate security
Teachers at Sene East petitioned the Bono East Regional Minister, Mr Adu Gyan emphasizing their intentions to withdraw their services until their demands are met.

The Bono East Regional Minister Honourable Adu Gyan has pledged his commitment to providing enough security for teachers and other government officials following the frequent robbery attacks and killing in Sene East and Sene West.
He made his known during a day visit to the departmental heads in Sene West District on July 9, 2021. This comes after Teachers who deemed mostly affected by the recent attacks and killings presented a petition indicating that two of their colleagues namely Asante Elijah and Ennin Kojo Prah died as a result of robbery.
Teachers at Sene East petitioned the Bono East Regional Minister, Mr Adu Gyan emphasizing their intentions to withdraw their services until their demands are met.
They also outlined measures the government should as a matter of urgency provide to protect them before going back to the classroom including reverting the contractor fixing Atebubu-Kwame Danso road to site.
