The 14th Quadrilateral National Delegate's Congress for the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) have been called off due to a court injunction filed by some feuding members contesting for positions.

Though the three (3 ) day conference opened on Thursday 5th, January 2023 - Saturday 7th of January 2023 with high expectations for a successful one with the elections of new members could not come on due to a court injunction placed (7) seven CLOGSAG members

The Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Honourable Ignatius Baffour Awuah who represent President Akufo-Addo opens the conference and also wished them well during the conference and stated that the government will continue to solve public sectors challenges in this year 2023 after the latest court injunction.

Central Regional Minister, Honourable Justin Marigold Assan appealed to Trade Union's Congress (TUC) leaders to consider the effects of the covid-19 papandemicnd and other factors in their negotiations with the government.

Day (2) Friday, 6th January 2023 at the Congress ground in Cape Coast University (UCC), speaking to some delegates, Mr Kwame Sarfo a Secretary from Atwima Mponu in the Ashanti Region stated that the delegates are much disappointed with clogsag executive council for calling the conference off.

Dr Isaac Bampoe, an Executive Secretary to the (CLOGSAG) confirmed that the association received the court injunction on the elections today Friday 6th January 2023 which they can not do otherwise but comply with the action.

Meanwhile, "this Friday morning we had a meeting with centhe trial regional police commander and his other security agencies and was advised that base upon security reasons we should call off the congress and go back to our regions" according to the Executive Secretary.

He said the association doesn't have an option but to abide by these directives and assured that the executive council will immediately look out and take deca mission.

Soureenews.com was sighted on the court injunction which was fulfilled by the Supreme Court at Accra by Mr Abraham A. Allotey including (6) six other members to withhold the association from electing its new members.
