Fix our deplorable roads now -Ayimom chiefs to government                    

Chiefs of Ayimom in the Berekum West District of the Bono Region are appealing to the government to fix their deplorable roads.

Speaking on behalf of the chiefs, the Akyeamehene for the area Nana Kwabena Yeboah disclosed that, prior to the 2020 general election, a contractor was on the road working but abandoned the work after the election.

They want urgent measures to be put in place as soon as possible as plying the road will be difficult for commuters as the rains have set in.

Touching on other projects that have been abandoned in the community, Nana Kwabena Yeboah stressed that a classroom block project which was started in the community to help curb overcrowding of pupils in classrooms in this Covid-19 era has also been abandoned as the contractor has left the site.

They are therefore appealing to the government, the Assembly, and other stakeholders to come to their aid.
