Flooding Destroy Documents @ Lands  Commission Is A Shame
The pressure group calling itself the National Safety Campaign (NASACA) has described a complete shame and disgust in the report of the destruction caused to the various important documents by the flooding during Saturday's heavy downpour in Accra.
"It might be extremely difficult to say this, but it's a big shame to hear that a whole Lands Commission of Ghana has suffered its documents and others to flooding," the leadership of the group said at a press conference in Accra.
In the said report, the Safety Advocate and who doubles as the  President of NASA, Mr. Daniel Asuku on behalf of the group pointed out that the Ghanaian community continues to expose its deficiency inability in handling this habitual flood disaster across the length and breadth of the country.

"An endless list of questions is at play here, if indeed no mean institution than the lands commission office got flooded to destroy the document and other belongings. It's simply unspeakable," he noted.
He stressed that NASA continues to ask "why do we suffer the effect of rainfall during its season and go thirsty during the dry?"
According to him, the time is way off overdue to properly plan how to deal with this canker.
He said For the SAFETY of a people is the wealth and health of the same, adding that "Don't wait till it occurs before.
It would be recalled some social media users have cast doubt about the authenticity of the reported flooding of the headquarters of the Lands Commission.
The Soireenews.com  sources claimed that hundreds of documents, computers, and scanners in the basement of the edifice were destroyed after Saturday night’s downpour.
The affected documents include; indentures, land maps, and land documents.
Although the weekend’s rain caused a lot of mayhem in various parts of the Greater Accra Region, some citizens are finding it extremely hard to believe that the premises of the Lands Commission could also be flooded.
Meanwhile, the officials at the Head Office of the Commission were tight-lipped over the matter.
