Ghana's Economy is in a Quicksand-Kwaku Sintim-Misa.

A Satirist, Kwaku Sintim-Misa popularly known as KS has described Ghana's economic challenges as a person walking in quicksand and sinking.

In an exclusive interview on Joynews Am Show with Benjamin Makafue on Wednesday 7th December 2022, he said Ghana has gone haywire and there is so much indiscipline in the system and everybody needs to employ other options to live.

He said things have become too loose and no centre to hold how things are going.

According to him, Ghana need a strong captain to man the ship and blaming the New Patriotic Party (NPP) led government by President Nana Akufo Addo has lost the plot with the Ghana beyond aid he preached about and we must stop begging and borrowing in this age of our time.

He charges the authorities to create avenues for revenue mobilisation to sustain the country than moving beyond Ghana beyond aid agenda

Again he siad, the government's free Senior High School policy implementation was a rush and said education can not be turned into a political event. Though it was a promise the delivery of the promise should have been excellent with better strategies to sustain the implementation of free education which should have been implemented gradually.

He explained that Ghanaians have the attitude of talking too much and it has made the country an economic quicksand where we have stuck in the sand and needs a rescue that is the more we struggle to escape, the deeper we sink.

He called on Ghanaians to brace themselves up in these times of economic crisis since things will not be easy for Ghanaians as compared to the 80s.

He said hard times require stricter measures and we should have a digital drive mindset in thinking as a country than an analogue way of doing things.

Kwaku Sintim-Misa tackling its corruption issues called on the government to ceil all the leaks and loopholes in the government and do everything to stop activities draining the country because there are too many leakages and loopholes in the system as a country.

He said though the country is in crisis yet to cancel the revenue accruing from road tolls but said the cessation of the road tolls was a nonsensical decision if the government has agreed to introduce it then is the right way to go and has been vindicated.

KSM added that we are reaping what we sow as a nation and is not a prayer that will solve all the problems we are facing because common sense should be applied in our decision-making. We don't pray and fast to improve the value of the cedi, he siad.

According to him, the Bible is a great book but he believes Bible is not a divine book and the God he serves is not the God in the Bible and doesn't go to church for now even though his father serves as the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana for three conservative times yet he doesn't fellowship with any church and not Christian.

He siad, he serves God through humanity and service to God is service to humanity and that the best way to worship God is to serve humanity.

On the National Cathedral construction, he said is not at this time the country is begging for help should such a decision should be taken and is a joke because our leaders are thinking analogue because the National Cathedral project does not make sense.

He finally advised everyone to adopt the attitude of regular health checks up especially on the PSA for all who are above 40 years and beyond.
