Kuami Eugene has stated that he holds no personal grudge against Guru NKZ.

The reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Award's Artist of the Year went as far as to wish that Guru makes more hit songs.

“I wish @gurunkz should bounce back to producing the 10 hit songs he releases every year,” he said in an interview granted by the Rock Star on Kasapa102.5fm.

He, however, maintained his original stance; that no collaboration can happen as long as Guru continues to disrespect the boss of his label, Lynx Entertainment.

Kuami Eugene explained that everyone is aware of Guru being a senior colleague, and he would not deliberately insult a senior colleague, especially one who has been the forerunner for Ghanaian music over the years.

He further said that as long as he is under Lynx Entertainment, he has to do what the bosses of Lynx Entertainment dictate.

If the manager isn't happy with an artiste, collaboration cannot happen, Kuami Eugene stated.

Guru did not use the right channel. You want to feature me but you go to media houses to insult the man who made me. I wouldn’t have been Kuami Eugene but for Richie so I expect that respect is accorded him no matter the differences that exist. I am under Lynx Entertainment and any song I produce needs to go through them,”

This comes after Guru NKZ had respectfully advised Kuami Eugene to "back down" after the Lynx Entertainment signed suggested that Guru was begging his label for a collaboration.

Guru suggested that Kuami Eugene should not involve himself in talks like that since he is still very young and relatively new to the game.

He maintained that he did not beg Lynx Entertainment for a collaboration like Kuami Eugene had suggested.
