Fameye revealed to Andy Dosty on Hitz FM that he spends thousands of cedis on his music videos in addition to purchasing pricey clothing, shoes, bags, and other accessories.

It will be challenging for him to reduce his fee if he is invited to play at any event as a result of these recent adjustments.

He went on to say that he had too much invested in his artistic career to be receiving GHC20,000 to play live.

Fameye also discussed how Ghanaian award programs are superior to the Grammy Awards.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, in his opinion, are significantly superior to the Grammy Awards. He clarified that musicians are nominated because the VGMA acknowledges their hard work.

He made it clear that no payment of any kind is required of musicians or their management in order for them to receive an award nomination.

But in situations such as the Grammy Awards, the artist management must put in a lot of work behind the scenes in order for their client to receive a nomination.
