There was a drama at the Ampenkro/Asratoa D/A Primary School in the Jaman South Municipal of the Bono region on Monday as the first vice-chairman of the Jaman South NPP, Mr. Henry Yaw Afful (Henforo) stormed the school premises and locked up the entire block over unsettled money.

The situation disrupted studies making students stranded.

The 6-unit classroom project which falls under the one million dollars per constituency according to the source was awarded to Mr. Henforo’s firm.

Reports say the NPP vice-chairman has not been settled by his own party’s government led by Nana Akuffo Addo, hence the decision to lock up the facility.

Reacting to his decision the headteacher of the school, Samuel Afful registered his displeasure and how school activities have been halted since Monday

The Unit Committee Chairman for the area, Mr. Nketiah Ernest in an interview with the media confirmed the closure of the school.

He has therefore called on the NPP government and the GES to take immediate action since their wards have been deprived of school by the Chairman's unwarranted actions.
