One Dead, 10 Injured In A Gory Accident At Ekumfi Akwakrom
The driver of the Toyota Corolla died instantly leaving 10 passengers in the metro bus seriously injured including the driver.

One person has been confirmed dead whiles 10 passengers have also sustained serious injuries in a gory accident that occurred at Ekumfi Akwakrom on the Kasoa- Cape Coast Highway
The accident was between a Metro mas bus with a registration number GS 2614-17 from Accra heading towards Takoradi and a Toyota Corolla with a Registration number GV 22-14 also from Mankessim in the opposite direction.
Investigation revealed that the Toyota Corolla made a wrongly overtaking in a sharp curve which collided with the Metro Bus.
In an interview with the media, some of the survivors in the metro mas bus said, their drivers saw the Toyota Corolla making a wrongful overtaking and decided to swerve which led to the collision.
The driver of the Toyota Corolla died instantly leaving 10 passengers in the metro bus seriously injured including the driver.
Injured persons are receiving treatment at the Mankessim Roman Catholic Hospital whiles the deceased has been deposited at Saltpond mortuary for identification, preservation and autopsy.
The Vehicles have also been sent to Jedu Police Station for an investigation.
