Simi: "Respect is something I deserve," In response to taunts from Samklef and Brymo

The recent taunts from his, also known as Samklef, and Nigerian musician and composer Simisola Kosoko, also known as Simi, have been met with a response.

Simi participated in a Tuesday interview with media professional Angela Yee

for her show "Way Up."

The musician Adekunle Gold's wife expressed happiness that her husband was always there to defend her, but she could not fathom the reasoning behind Samklef and Brymo's comments about having nurturing sentiments for her. She said that there was more comedy in their behaviors than anyone could ever believe.

Simi responded, "I don't expect to be asked this," when asked how she handled the jokes. The problem is that most of these people aren't even familiar to me. You can't even make out anything when you truly look at what they are saying, which is why I'm not sure why they keep bringing up me.

I'm perplexed and don't think it matters to me. "My spouse, Adekunle Gold, is advocating for me in the way that he would. I even said to my friend that I had nothing to hide and that it didn't affect me, therefore I didn't feel anything about it.

As if you were going to publicly announce that you had dated me. Thus? Furthermore? All right. Why, too? I find the entire situation to be primarily humorous.

The only thing I will say is that, based on what I witnessed, many individuals defending me against him asked why he was speaking to me in such a rude manner. You don't respect me because I'm married, but you should respect me because I deserve it.

She continued, "Don't do that to me. Samklef recently shared his feelings regarding singer Simi, which sparked a heated debate between him and Adekunle Gold on social media.

Samklef acknowledged that he had feelings for Simi in the past in a slew of since-deleted posts on Sunday, but he decided against pursuing them to keep up a working connection.

Then, CTO and another musician Ric Hassani "the two most ungrateful artistes" he had ever collaborated with, ended his artist's view. Adekunle Gold, Simi's husband, however, reacted quickly, standing up for his wife and telling Samklef to stop treating her badly.

Samklef was chastised by Adekunle Gold, who then intensified the altercation by saying, "Simi does not owe you shit, and it is about time you stopped calling her name every three market days." You owe me money! Act your age and quit being

"Dear Adekunle, I made your wife Simi cry," was Samklef's retaliatory reply, implying that he had influenced Simi's career.

Not too long ago, Brymo experienced a similar rage from Adekunle after he posted an audio tape in which he asked Simi for sex in exchange for a music collaboration—a proposition that Simi angrily rejected.

In defense of the recording, Brymo said that his advances on Simi were "an artistic pursuit." Adekunle Gold, however, was not amused by his admission and advised him to "stay away" from his wife and "stop disrespecting" his family.
