Former Nigerian footballer, Peter Osaze Odemwingie has blasted the wife of Nwankwo Kanu, Amara Kanu, over poor parenting and fake Christianity practice.

Odemwingie, on Wednesday, took to social media to attack the wife of the legendary footballer for incessantly disturbing him with chats which he finds uncomfortable.

According to him, Amara Kanu has failed as a Christian and a mother following her son’s hand gesture of the ‘Baphomet’ – an object of worship of the masons.

He wrote: ''The reason why Nigeria is in this state. Too many want to be like America. God turned his back at America as things stand. Destruction is upon her.

In reaction, Amara Kanu has debunked the allegation of wanting anything to do with him, that in fact, Kanu is aware of the development.

She wrote;

“oh no no no. Kindly take this post down. @Kingkanu4 is fully aware of this. We want to talk to you as a family.”
