Tano South MP Donates Building Materials To GES

The Member of Parliament for Tano South Constituency, Honorable Benjamin Yeboah Sekyereh has donated 50 bags of cement to Bechem Model Basic School in the Ahafo Regions.

Hon. Benjamin Yeboah Sekyereh told Journalists that he made the presentation of the cement towards the construction of a pavilion being built by teachers of Bechem of the School.

According to him, the teachers constructed the pavilion as a primary school to feed the Junior High School.

The Lawmaker explained that he was touched by the decision of the teachers to undertake such a project with their monthly salaries, hence his support.

“The project as you can see has been built by the teachers themselves through their monthly salaries, I found it pertinent to contribute my quota through this donation,” he said.

The MP commended the teachers for such an initiative.
The teachers also expressed their gratitude to the Legislature for the gesture.

They seized the opportunity to request a school feeding and a toilet facility.
Honorable Benjamin Yeboah Sekyereh also assured them that he will do all within his might to meet their requests.

He, therefore, called on Tano South constituents both home and abroad to come together to join forces to develop Tano South Constituency.
