Traditional Authorities Call For The Establishment Of Nursing Training And Secondary Technical School At Gomoa Ojobi

On the other hand, the Abusuapanyin of Gomoa Ojobi traditional area Nana Kofi Otabil has preached peace and called for unity amongst chiefs and people of Gomoa Ojobi.

The traditional authorities of Gomoa Ojobi traditional area have called for support to establish Nursing and midwifery schools as well as a secondary technical school in *Gomoa Ojobi* in the Gomoa East District of the central region.

According to the Divisional Chief of the area Nana Atta Kakra ix, they have demarcated 20 acres of land for the construction of nursing Training and midwifery school whiles 15 acres has also been demarcated for the establishment of a secondary technical school in Gomoa Ojobi.

 Nana Atta Kakra ix delivering his keynote address during the dubar of the 2022  edition of Gomoa Ojobi Ahoobakese festival with the theme: *peace and unity enhances development told Soireenews Reporter that, his community has a larger population of over 5,000* but access to quality education and health care has become a major challenge for the past decades hence the call.


He further appealed to the government to upgrade their Chip compound to the status of polyclinic since their population keeps on increasing to make access to health care easy and comfortable.

He emphasized the need to get support from the government in the establishment of the above-mentioned institutions which will give a facelift to Education and health care delivery in the area.


On the other hand, the Abusuapanyin of Gomoa Ojobi traditional area Nana Kofi Otabil has preached peace and called for unity amongst chiefs and people of Gomoa Ojobi.


 Nana Kofi Otabil explained that without peace, unity, and tranquillity the establishment of the above-mentioned institutions will never come to pass because government and investors would never invest in litigation or problematic areas hence the need to unite first.


The Abusuapanyin used the opportunity to thank all traditional authorities, mp for the area, and other dignitaries who graced the colourful occasion to witness the Rich culture of Gomoa Ojobi
