Youth Employment Agency Has Employed 17,000/Ghanaian Youth Within 5 Months in Office - Chief Executive Officer.

According to him, the heavy joy that comes with this is equally because as an Agency, we have successfully recruited about 17,000 beneficiaries since I assumed office in August 2022, which are 6,000 Community Health Assistants, the first batch of 5,100 Community Protection Assistants, 500 Prison Office Assistants and today’s addition of the second batch of 5,400 Community Protection Assistants.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Youth Employment Agency, Mr Kofi Agyemang has expressed his excitement as he once again announces that, the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is living its vision of giving hope to young Ghanaians, who are full of energy and talent. 

Despite the current economic situation in Ghana finds itself, the YEA has been able to assemble, train and pass out over 5,000 young men and women at various training depots across the country. We are not only training them to assist the Ghana Police Service in protecting our communities but also to offer them timely paid decent jobs that will ease their dependency on families.

He added that "I am also excited to say that, not a single monthly allowance is outstanding. We are up to date with payments of monthly allowances to beneficiaries with all outstanding arrears cleared". he said.
