District Commander Appeals to IGP To Help Them With Patrol Cars
Supt Joshua Kwame Semanyoh

The Awutu Breku district police commander in the central region of Awutu Senya West, Supt Joshua Kwame Semanyoh has pleaded with the inspector general of police, Dr. George Akufu Dampareh to provide Awutu Breku district police patrol car to make the police Patrol teamwork easy.

According to the district police commander, due to lack of patrol car, they use the district Assembly car to do patrols in the night but because it belongs to the Assembly, sometimes it is difficult for them to get it.

According to the commander, when there is an emergency and the district Assemble car is not available he do use his own private car to rush to the scene which is not encouraging them whenever there is crime somewhere.

Furthermore, IGP is aware because he has been at Awutu Breku district police command; and the district police commander, Supt Joshua Kwame Semanyoh complains to IGP about how they find it difficult to do patrol at night when the Assemble car is not available.

Also at times, they do a foot walk for patrol, which  tomorrow 31st Night, his men have to walk from churches to churches to protect the good people of Awutu Breku and its surroundings due to lack of Patrol car.

He urged the IGP to provide Awutu Breku district police patrol cars to make their work easy especially at the night.

Again, the IGP has promised to provide them the patrol car when the car is available so he is only reminding the IGP of their challenges when it comes to logistics like the car to work in the night and day whenever there is crime somewhere in the district.

He also pleaded with the good people of Awutu Breku and its surroundings to help them by giving them information whenever there is a crime in the community.

The Awutu Breaku district police have promised to work hard to protect the good people of Awutu Breku during and after the Christmas season.
