Angry Kwabenya traditional leaders call on Nana Addo to sack Ga East MCE

Angry kwabenya traditional leaders in the Dome Kwabenya constituency are calling on President Nana Akuffo Addo to sack the Ga East Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Elizabeth Kaakie Mann immediately.

According to the traditional leaders, the President should sack the MCE with immediate effect or else face their wrath.

The KwabenyaQueen'sn mother, Naa Korkoi Djugbatey ii in a Press Conference today expressed that they are not happy with how the MCE has been going about her business in the traditional area.

The Queen mother accused the MCE of several unlawful demolishing of her properties and hiding behind the Government and the Ga East Municipal Assembly to illegally sell their Lands to private developers.

Naa Korkoi Djugbatey alleged that the MCE has sold a portion of their family land to a private developer that she has evidence of documents to prove.

At the Press conference, the angry chiefs and Queen mother outline some of their displeasures about the MCE and why the President needs to sack her with immediate effect.

The Queen mother stated that the MCE is running a parallel administration on their Lands and takes decisions without consulting the traditional authorities before touching their properties.

They also outline that the outright disrespect from the MCE toward them has gone on for far too long and they can no longer tolerate her in the traditional area.

In addition, the Queen's mother accused the MCE of undermining the traditional authority in the area.

Therefore it has become necessary for them to beseech the first gentleman of the land and chief of Staff to immediately sack the Ga East MCE, Elizabeth Kaakie Mann.

Reports from Kwabenya suggest that the MCE and the irate Queen mother of Kwabenya have in the past clashed on several occasions following a decongestion exercise by the assembly.
