Asankrangua Township Gets By-Pass To Ease Traffic Congestions-MCE Declares

The residents of Asankrangua in the Amenfi West Municipality are fortunate to have a by-pass to ease traffic congestion in the community according to the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Lord Nana Tandoh.
 
The MCE told Soireenews.com that the fund used for the project is coming from the Assembly Internal General Fund (IGF).
 
Following this development, Nana Tandoh called on residents in the municipality to pay their taxes regularly, to enable the Assembly to carry out the needed social and infrastructural intervention developmental projects and programmes in the 19 electoral areas within the municipality.
 
He stressed that if all people who are supposed to voluntery pay tax honour their obligations,the Assembly might not wait for Common Fund from the Central government for development.
According to Nana Tandoh, it's the fervent wish of the assembly to ensure there is zero congestion in the Asankrangua township.
He reiterated the assembly's commitment to put measures in place to ensure there is safety for the residents as well as the road users.
He added that since Asankrangua servers as a center to several other communities within the municipality, the assembly has commenced the construction of the by pass, which will serve as an auxiliary route to support traffic flow.
"We have observed with keen interest how the traffic flow has become a major issue in the municipality, sooner  we will complete the by- pass project and make it accessible for road users. This will  help ease the traffic situation and however facilitate commercial activities", the MP noted.
The MCE added that, a lot of facilitated projects have been completed and some in pipeline, to ensure the people have their fair share of the national cake.
"We have touched on several souls and projects, in terms of health, water, sanitation, security, education, welfare services, youth and sporting project  and several others. These are the request of the people and we will ensure to deliver on our mandates", he stated.
