The Assembly Member for the Nkonsia electoral area in the Wenchi municipality of the Bono Region, Evans Amoako Besseah, and his electorates are worried about Wenchi Municipal Assembly.

They have registered their displeasure for being neglected by the Wenchi Municipal Assembly.

They say several projects initiated by both previous and current governments have been abandoned for no apparent reason.

Honorable Evans Amoako Besseah, the Assembly Member told our correspondent, Nana Anfreh Damanata that an abandoned ten separate seater water closet facilities, project started in 2009 by the late President Professor, Evans Atta Mills and the other one also started in 2018 by the Middle Belt Development Authority under the 1 million dollars per one constituency served as the habitat for snakes and other reptiles.

He further explained that there are several projects like durbar - ground at Nkonsia, water facility at Tangba from, CHIPS compound at Ayaayo, community self-school project, and others which are all suspended.

He, therefore, appealed to the Middle Belt Development Authority, Common Funds administration, the Wenchi Municipal Assembly, and Member of Parliament for the area to immediately come to their aid.

The Assembly Member finally urged the MP to redeem the pledge he made to the residents of Ayaayo to complete the self-help community school project.
