At Kpetoe, a man was discovered dead with his head missing

A manhunt is underway in the Volta Region's Agortime Ziope District for a man suspected of murdering an elderly man at Kpetoe.

According to reports, The suspect sought Apetor Yesu [now deceased], a homeowner, for lodging after he was left stranded at Kpetoe.

The Operator Yesu, however, is said to have vanished after taking the suspect out of the premises.

After a search by the community's youngsters, his decapitated body was discovered.

Philip Akpese Jomo, Assemblyman for the Kpetoe South Electoral Area, said attempts were underway to locate the suspect as well as the deceased's head.

He claimed that the body could not be buried without the head attached.
