Killers of Karaga DCE driver arrested
The suspects are on remand whiles investigations is still ongoing.

Police in the Northern region has arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of the driver of the District Chief Executive for Karaga district.
The driver, Ziblim Issah travelling from Tamale to Karaga on May 29, 2021, was gunned down at Yamo-Karaga road near Karaga.
Police suspect the perpetrators picked up some documents that belong to the DCE from the car after killing the driver.
Northern Regional Police Command gave a ransom of GHS10, 000 for information that will lead to arrest and prosecute the suspects in the said incident.
The Northern Regional Police Commander, COP Timothy Yoosa Bonga speaking to Journalists at Regional Police Headquarters in Tamale said, the suspects were arrested by a police Patrol team on the Karaga road.
According to COP Timothy Yoosa Bonga, a locally manufactured pistol and two life ammunition were retrieved from the two suspects who were riding a motorbike around the Yamo- Karaga area.
The suspects are on remand whiles investigations is still ongoing.
