PARLIAMENTARY Candidate on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Lower West Akim Constituency of the Eastern Region,Mr Owen Kwame Frimpong, has made a donation of fifteen (50) bags of cement to Asamakese  Senior High School (SHS).

Affectionately known as Darling Boy, Mr Owen also donated a fiscal cash of GH¢5000 to aid the wonderful developmental projects ongoing in the school.
The famous citizen of the area made these donations when he was accompanied of his Constituency Chairman and other executives, to pay a surprise visit to the school during its Student Representative Council (SRC) week thanksgiving service.

Amidst a rousing welcome and dancing with the students, the atmosphere got charged up when his presence was announced and with his entourage introduced.
Giving him the platform, Mr Frimpong took the opportunity to talk and encourage the students to bring God in everything they do, they should never relent on their studies and always aim high to come out with flying colours.
Darling Boy again reminded the students to take advantage of the free vacation classes he has been organising for students in Asamankese during vacation periods.

"The transformational agenda undertaken by the Headmaster and his management over the last few years has really changed the face of the school to a very beautiful and lovely place to be and that needs to be commended, I said to myself 'wow!' when I entered the school, This Headmaster needs to be assisted to continue this beautiful thing he's doing." He said.

Mr Owen further indicated his commitment to be part of the massive projects ongoing and therefore pledged his continuous support to see to it successful end since he's an indiges of Asamankese and would be proud of such a school in his Municipality.
Receiving the donations on behalf of the school, the Headmaster thanked and showed much gratitude to such a surprise visit and kind gesture.

"Normally people come and make promises of such support but don't show up to fulfill them, but here we are today, Mr Owen came here along with his donations outright.
This is so refreshing and we pray he gets the nod to continue such gestures," the Headmaster said!.
