According to the workers of Zoomlion, there is nothing they can do about the situation because the site was allocated to them by the Berekum East Municipal Assembly authorities.

Berekum the golden city township and market centeris full of felt over the blockage of the road by the youth Namasua in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region.
According to the youth, the Municipal Assembly allocated their town for the refuse dumping site with a promise but the Assembly has failed in delivering their promise.
The road that has been blocked to the refuse site has prevented the workers of Zoomlion to ease the refuse congestion in the town.
All the Zoomlion refuse containers are full within the various sanitation areas in the town because the containers cannot be replaced with new ones as well as the gathered refuse in some markets in Berekum.
Speaking to the Thursday Market traders, they describe the situation to be worrying since the refuse of last Thursday's Market is still uncollected in the market making the market smile very bad whiles trading activities are going on.

Madam Jenet Yeboah said until the Assembly finished the negotiations with the youth and the traditional leaders, there is nothing they can do to send the collected refuse to the site and called the people of Berekum to bear with them over the huge refuse scattered in the town.
