Real Madrid would reportedly be interested in talking to Carlo Ancelotti about a return to the club, should Zinedine Zidane leave his role as head coach at the end of the season.

After winning three consecutive Champions League trophies in a row for the Los Blancos, Zinedine Zidane's future at the Bernabeu is finally coming to a close.

The former Real Madrid star and legend is currently the subject of much speculation, with a recent report claiming that the Frenchman will stand down from his position once the 2020-21 campaign is over.

Zizou, as he is popularly known, had a brilliant and wonderful career as a player and he has also been successful as the taskmaster ever since he was appointed the head coach of Real Madrid.

Zidane took over the Whites from his successor Carlo Ancelotti, and according to the latest report by the Mirror, the Los Blancos President Fiorentino Perez has identified Ancelotti, who is currently at Everton as a suitable replacement. 

During Ancelotti’s watch as the taskmaster for Real Madrid, he won the Copa del Rey and the Champions League between 2013 and 2015,

The 61-year-old has managed heavyweights like Bayern Munich, Napoli and now Everton. His return to Madrid wouldn’t be something different because he knows the style of the Whites;
