Saviour Church of Ghana Donates Relief Items To  Volta Region Dam Spillage Victims In Afram Plains North And South

Speaking with the various District Chief executive's during the donations, Opanin Abraham explained  that it is also the work of God to help one another.

THE  Saviour Church of Ghana, led by Superintendent Opanin Kwaku Adusei Abraham, has extended support to the victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage in the Afram Plains North and South Districts of the Eastern Region.

Speaking with the various District Chief executive's during the donations, Opanin Abraham explained  that it is also the work of God to help one another. 

"The word of God instruct all his followers to be each others keeper especially in hard times hence the donations by the church and myself. We have taken it upon ourselves to extend a helping hand to all victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage to help them in this difficult times" Opanin Abraham stated.
In Afram Plains South, the church donated 50 bags of rice, 100 bags of maize , and 25 pieces of mat. 

The District Chief Executive, Hon. Evans Kyei Ntiri, expressed gratitude to the Saviour Church of Ghana and Opanin Adusei for their assistance. 
He mentioned that the items will be distributed to approximately 1,000 victims and requested additional help for the displaced persons.
Similarly, in Afram Plains North, Hon. Isaac Ofori-Koree, the District Chief Executive, received 100 bags of maize, 50 bags of rice, and some pieces of mat. 

He also expressed his appreciation to the Saviour Church and its leader for their generous donations. 

He highlighted that his district is one of the most affected areas, but due to limited media accessibility, their situation is not widely known.
This marks the second phase of donations by the Saviour Church of Ghana to the victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage. In the first phase, the church donated items to six constituencies, including North Tongu, South Tongu, North Dayi, South, central Tongu in the Volta Region, among others.

It is worth noting that all the food items distributed by the Saviour Church of Ghana are sourced from Gyidiman farms, which is a farm owned by the church at Afram plains.
