DCOP Kwesi Ofori Retired Leads Removal Of Adama Latse From The Ga Paramount Stool House And Planted Tackie Teiko Tsuru In The House—Nii Tackie Kommey Drops Bombshell

FORMER Public Affairs Director of the Ghana Police Service, Retired Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP), Mr Samuel Kwesi Ofori (Retired) has been blamed for the unending of Ga Royal Paramount Stool Chieftaincy dispute.

The Spokesperson for His Royal Majesty Boni Tackie Adama Latse II, one of the claimants to the Ga Royal Paramount Stool, Nii Tackie Kommey revealed how secretly DCOP Ofori has played a role by leading some armed policemen and soldiers from the Greater Accra Regional Security Council to unlawful remove Adama Latse who is Ga Mantse from the Ga Royal Stool House and planted his rival King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, known in private life as Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie in the house.

The senior royal citizen of Ga State blamed  DCOP, Kwesi Ofori, and the current New Patriotic Party government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the Ga Royal Paramount Chieftaincy dispute which has been retarding development in the Ga State.

Honourable Kommey provided decumentary proof on how DCOP Kwesi Ofori led the armed policemen to molest the Acting Seitse (Stool father) of Ga Royal Paramount Stool, Mr David Tackie Kommey and forcibly taken the keys from him to open the Ga Royal Stool House room to pave way for the faction of Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie to take over the house.

"DCOP Kwesi Ofori on October 20, 2017 led armed policemen and soldiers to chase out David Tackie Kommey to the Gbese Mantse palace area and forced him to release the keys to the stool rooms and eventually they have succeeded in opening the rooms for the faction of Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie to take over the house," he disclosed.

Honourable Kommey who dared Dr Kelvin Tackie to challenge him stressed Dr Kelvin Tackie had earlier been vetted and rejected by the Ga Paramount Stool Dzase in preference for King Tackie Adama Latse II.

"So Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie he should know that he has been defeated ones for fighting for the position of the candidacy of the Ga Royal Paramount Stool and you know what God can do.So long and behold when the right time comes, King Tackie Adama Latse II would take over his position as the legitimate Ga Mantse," because Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie himself know that it is not his turn to be installed Ga Mantse to succeed the late substantive Ga Mantse, Boni Nii Amugi Sroosi II who died in December 10, 2004," he assured.

According to him, Boni Tackie Adama Latse II
was nominated, elected and enstooled in accordance with the customs, traditions, conventions and usages of the Ga State in 2011.

It is the historical fact Boni Tackie Adama Latse II was lawfully ascending the Ga Royal Paramount black stool of untill when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is elected into political power, because Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie is a member of the NPP, some self seeking and unaccredited elders, heads of families and kingmakers of the Ga Royal Paramount Stool have passed by to use the state security personnel to do unthinkable.

Giving the details of the real fact on matter, the visibly worried senior royal citizen of the Ga State stated that Boni Tackie Adama Latse II was in the Ga Mantse Royal Stool House with his accredited elders and kingmakers including the Dzaase holding the discussion towards the preparations for the Ga Homowo festival before the heartbreaking incident occured.

According to Honourable Kommey, they were having a meeting when then the retired police officer, DCOP Kwesi Ofori led attack on their stool House and removed Boni Tackie Adama Latse and his elders from the house.

"Even when DCOP Kwesi Ofori and one military officer came to the Ga Paramount Royal Stool House at Ga Mashie in Accra, at that fateful day, Boni Tackie Adama Latse and his Dzaase (elders) are holding meeting, l (Nii Tackie Kommey) was the one DCOP Kwesi Ofori met at the downstair of the Stool House.

"So when l am standing there, DCOP Kwesi Ofori who was walking with one military officer saw me and told me that Honourable it was a long time that l saw you. And DCOP Kwesi Ofori told me that we are here for information.

However, we have already gone the wind of the information prior to that eviction. "We have already had information that the faction of King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II or Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie were planning to attack the house and removed Boni Tackie Adama Latse and his elders for them to take over the stool house ," he revealed.

According to Honourable Kommey, when they got the wind of the information, they had written an officially letter to then Inspector General of Police (IGP), Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, Greater Accra Regional Minister, Honourable Ishmael Ashitey. including some other key state security agencies and informed these state security regulatory personalities and demanded for the state security protection of the house.

He pointed out that; "even when l saw DCOP Kwesi Ofori together with policemen and military officers, l thought they were there in the response to give the security protection to the stool House in order to prevent the attack by the faction of Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie."

"So when DCOP Kwesi Ofori approaches me and greets me he (DCOP Kwesi Ofori) asked me where is Boni Tackie Adama Latse II, and that l responded that Boni Tackie Adama Latse II and his elders were in the stool house at the upstair holding meeting

"...and that DCOP Kwesi Ofori told me that he wanted to see Nii Ga Mantse and assured him that they here to protect the area. So l said thank you very. l have escorted DCOP Kwesi Ofori and other security officers to the stool room to see Boni King Tackie Adama Latse II and his elders.

"And in the meeting, DCOP Kwesi Ofori told Nii Ga Mantse, Boni Tackie Adama Latse II and his elders that they were here to inform they that they had been deployed to come to give security protection to the area or environment.

"Even DCOP Kwesi Ofori assured Boni Tackie Adama Latse II that should in case he wants to leave to any place or any public function, he [Boni Tackie Adama Latse II] should informed the police and he, [DCOP Kwesi Ofori] would ensure that they gave Boni Tackie Adama Latse II the police guard to protect him.

"Following this development Boni Tackie Adama Latse II has thanked DCOP Kwesi Ofori," Honourable Kommey disclosed to Soireenews.com.

The spokesperson stated that when it was around 6 to 7 PM, Nii Ga Mantse decided to the leave the elders to go to another meet elsewhere and that "l am the very person Nii Ga Mantse sent to go and inform the police that he wants to the leave to such meeting.

In this sense, he pointed out that DCOP Kwesi Ofori and armed policemen provided security escort to Nii Ga Mantse to leave the stool house to the meeting but the the elders have continued the deliberations in meeting.

"So long and behold it was about 10 to 15 minutes the Ga Mantse has left the house. So we have heard that some elders from the gate of Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie II including Nii Dr Tetteh Kwei II have stormed the Ga Stool House with the claim that they have the customary rites to perform on Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie in the stool room before he should be made a Ga Mantse.

"The elders from the gate of Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie including Nii Dr Tetteh Kwei II Nii Dr Tetteh Kwei II came there with goat and at the time my elder brother confronted DCOP Kwesi Ofori and armed policemen and complained to law enforcement personnel about the action of the elders from the gate of Dr Kelvin Nii Tackie Il.

"Unfortunately DCOP Kwesi Ofori told my brother that he cannot do anything and that if he likes, in order not to clash he should rather leave the stool house so that later they can see what can be done. So do you think these are the right things to be done by the state law enforcement personnel," Honourable Kommey rhetorically asked.
