Real Madrid will be without Aurelien Tchouameni for next week’s Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund.

This was revealed by manager Carlo Ancelotti during a press conference on Friday.

According to Ancelotti, Tchouameni is “working to recover for the Euros”.

Tchouameni was injured in the second leg semi final clash with Bayern Munich.

According to an official statement, the 24-year-old suffered a stress injury to his left foot.

The Frenchman had suffered a similar injury at the start of the season.

Tchouameni has been a vital player for Ancelotti's side during the 2023-24 season, making 38 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals and registering one assist in the process.

The 24-year-old suffered a fracture on his left foot towards the end of last year, which saw him miss five La Liga fixtures and three matches in the group stage of the Champions League.

Tchouameni has been used as a centre-back on a number of occasions this season due to the team's injury problems in that area of the field.
