“I still pick taxi and trotro because I don’t see myself as celebrity” – Berla Mundi

Many assumed Berla Mundi, a broadcaster who has been working her job for years while also hosting multiple shows, would be in her opulent automobile or would probably choose an Uber, but she has insisted that she is not worried about those things right now.

“I still pick taxi and trotro because I don’t see myself as celebrity” – Berla Mundi

According to Ghanaian journalist Berla Mundi, she frequently chooses trotros and taxis over more expensive modes of transportation despite their lower cost.

The TV3 host asserts that she does not exaggerate herself and does not consider her famous position to be a barrier.

In response to a question on Twitter about why she still picks up cabs at her level, Berla Mundi hinted that since she is not a star, she sees nothing wrong with that.

“I’m not a celebrity sir. I’m just a young Ghanaian lady on TV who also picks taxis and used to pick trotro too,” Berla Mundi replied.

As a celebrity who wants to catch up to the competition, Berla Mundi did not put herself under excessive pressure, and she wanted the fan to know this.

Berla Mundi expressed her displeasure with the expensive cab charges in a previous tweet and announced she would start walking to work. Her criticisms followed recent price increases in the nation.

Many assumed Berla Mundi, a broadcaster who has been working her job for years while also hosting multiple shows, would be in her opulent automobile or would probably choose an Uber, but she has insisted that she is not worried about those things right now.

Picking up a cab, in Berla Mundi's opinion, does not devalue her reputation as a respected media professional or diminish her value as a promoter of individuals being their authentic selves.
