Gyakie has promised her fans new music very soon.

The fast-rising megastar noted that she understands how her critics might not be expecting good music from her soon, but she is sure that the tracks she has lined up for her fans will disappoint them.

“Right now I have been in the studio and I have recorded a lot of good songs but the time to release the songs is what we’re working towards it so my fans should wait for it.

“It’s like people feel that after forever I’m actually not going to drop any song because it’s been long since I dropped forever in August 2020,” she disclosed on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.

“So right now I’m working on my new music so very soon Gyakie will definitely drop a new song,” She explained.

Gyakie, who appeared on Billboard’s Top Thriller Global Chart with the remix of forever which features Nigerian artiste Omah Lay and placed third behind Cardi B’s Up and KaMillions Twerk4Me, said this in an interview with Amansan Krakye on the Kastle Entertainment Show.

The "Forever" hitmaker and daughter of the Hiplife great, Nana Acheampong maintained that she is set on creating her own path instead of just existing in her father's shadow.

I’m proud of my dad’s exploits but I don’t think I’m competing with him or trying to maintain his legacy. I don’t want to feel that pressure or weight in my young career because I want to progress at my own pace.”

“Besides, my dad has left a legacy. He embarked on a journey and successfully set the pace for others to chart. I am embarking on a journey as well and hopefully, make my own impact so there’s no pressure at all.”

“I know some people have raised the bar high for me because of daddy but I have already set the bar high for myself because of the music I have done and not because of my father,” she concluded.
