I'm sorry, I'm responsible - John W Henry message of apology to Liverpool fans
The Liverpool owner has apologised to all the fans and supporters of Liverpool Football Club for the disruption caused in the buildup of the proposed European Super League.
The Principal owner of Liverpool Football Club, John W. Henry has apologized to fans, football players, the coaching staff and the LFC fraternity for the club’s involvement in the European Super League.
The last 48 hours has been criticism and disapproval of the decision owners took to form an alliance with top European club for a breakaway European League which they believe would have being the solution to recovering the club's finances from coronavirus crises.
Nine hours after the club’s exit together with other five, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs from the proposed plan, the principal owner released a message of apology for the disastrous decision.

"I want to apologise to all the fans and supporters of Liverpool Football Club for the disruption I caused over the past 48 hours. Goes without saying but should be said that the project put forward was never going to stand without the support of the fans," he said.
"If there's one thing this horrible pandemic is clearly shown. It's how crucial fans are to our sport into every sport. It's shown in every empty stadium. It's been an incredibly tough year for all of us virtually no one unaffected. It's important that the Liverpool football family remain intact vital and committed to what we've seen from you globally with local gestures of kindness and support.
