Saboba Paramount Chief visits Northern Regional Minister

 The Paramount Chief of the Saboba Traditional Area of the Northern Region, Ubor Mateer Bowon Kwayaja on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, paid a courtesy call on the Northern Regional Minister, Honourable Alhaji Shani Alhassan Shaibu to congratulate him on his appointment and subsequent assumption of office.

The visit, among other things, is to commiserate with the Regional Minister over the death of his father, the late Sunson Naa Mahama Shani Hamidu II who passed onto eternity a month ago.

The meeting offered an opportunity for the Chief to table the challenges of the Saboba traditional area.

Chief Ubor Mateer appealed for better roads and Educational facilities in the Saboba Traditional area.

On his part, the Northern Regional Minister acknowledged the visit as one of its kind and pledged to work closely with the traditional authorities within the Region to bring about the needed development in the entire Northern Region.
