ASSEMBLY MEMBER for Tettegu Electoral Area in the Weija-Gbawe municipality of the Greater Accra Region, Honourable Bright Kwame Adabra who was accused by the vigilante youths/Tettegu trouble-makers who have been visiting mayhem at innocent people at Tettegu of being aware of their evil deeds or sins, has flatly rubbished such allegation, stressing that it is a calculated attempt by his critiques to tarnish his hard-won reputation.

Mincing no words, Honourable Adabra, therefore, described the allegations as a propaganda and told the journalist that it is pure politics his accusers/vigilante youths in Tettegu are doing just to drag his name in the mud.
As elected Assembly member, he stressed that he stands for all the people in the area and would not condone any evil act of anyone in Tettegu under his jurisdiction.
According to the Assembly member, there are clear evidence that it is known to all residents in Tettegu of his personal stand against all illegal acts.

The Tettegu Assembly member was reacting to the scandalous allegations leveled against him by some violet groups that they have usually reported everything bad or evil things they have exhibited to the Assembly member in Tettegu.
However, his explanations come to light when the media reported by quoting the statement made some accusers of Honourable Adabra that; "Whenever the vigilante groups do bad things and they were arrested the police officers would release them to continue until they kill their own colleagues recently at Tettegu. Most of their operations and secrets are known to the Assembly member because we usually report everything we do to him.
"One such case is the stabbing of a man to death recently at Tettegu. This matter is currently in court and we entrusting the police and the judiciary to ensure justice is served to all citizens," they noted.
But in a quick rebuttal,Honourable Adabra stressed that he has no personal interest in the youth groups who has been arrested for the killings and shootings of people or visiting attacks on people in Tettegu enclave, he believes in maximum security for all citizens.
"I didn't have any knowledge of the bad things that those violet boys are doing to the people in Tettegu. No one in Tettegu has approached to inform me about the bad things he or she is doing to the people in the area.
"I am totally innocent, so l would like to plead with the general public, particularly the people in Ga state to disregard the claim by these vigilante groups/Tettegu trouble makers.
He indicated that his status as the Assembly member of Tettegu Electoral Area barred him from associating himself with bad people in the area.
The Assembly member expressed worry about the alarming killing, shooting and stabbing death rates in Tettegu and called on the national security personnel to come to their aid to flush out these criminals in the area.
The Tettegu community, he noted, is seriously being plagued by all manner of criminal activities, including armed robberies, gambling, cyber fraud and alcoholism.
What was very painful to the citizens of Tettegu, he stressed was that they have officially informed the national security about all the killing and shooting incidents in the area, but it seems like no proper security measures are not in place to stop the notorious thugs to engage in killings of the innocent people in the area.
He lamented that the killing and shooting incidents have increased in Tettegu, citing the current suspected murder of a businessman, Mr Emmanuel Kofi Korbly at his rented house in Tettegu.
He commended the police for the swift intervention in recent case and said that he would continue to work with police and the good people of Tetegu to ensure peace and security is maintained.
Once there is a case pending court action he believes that the residents will be very helpful in assisting police investigations and also desist from any unlawful commentaries.
