National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Kpando Constituency in the Volta Region,  Mrs. Della Adwoa Sowah has gone through vetting processes for her parliamentary contest, with an assurance to retain the seat  for the party in the 2024 general elections with a very big vote margins.

"After a thorough vetting process, I am proud to announce my candidacy for parliament in the upcoming NDC parliamentary elections. 

"It is with great pleasure that I reveal my assigned ballot position number as No Four. This position is not only auspicious but also strategic, as it allows me to stand out from the competition and garner the attention and support of voters. 

"I believe this is divine as it's my fourth time seeking a parliamentary bid to serve my constituents.

"I look forward to continuing my campaign, engaging with constituents, and representing the people's interests with dignity and diligence," Mrs Sowah noted.


According to hardworking female legislator, who would soon launch her book of projects and programmes implementation of achievements, the constituency has benefited from the social and infrastructure intervention developmental projects and programmes under her tenure in office.

She indicated that the delegates and members of the NDC in Kpando should look at her vast track records and achievements in the areas of health, education, bridge rehabilitation, welfare service to vulnerable in society, security, electrification water and sanitation and vote massively for her to win the NDC parliamentary primary scheduled to take off on May 13, 2023 to continue to lead the NDC to retain the Kpando seat for party.

She was of the view that the NDC needed a candidate with the requisite expertise and competence to retain the seat in the 2024 general election, stressing that she still possessed such qualities to win the seat for the party, hence he further called on the delegates and members of the part to renew their mandate to vote for her to win the primaries.

Addressing journalists after she gone through successful vetting processes on Monday April 3,2023, Mrs Sowah described her succession in the vetting which has given her legal backing to contest the parliamentary primaries as a collective effort of all.

She further called for a united front to retain Kpando parliamentary seat in the general elections 2024.

According to her, this is an NDC internal which is family and friends affair and that the political character assassination, sabotaging, and backbiting must stop since these inhumane practices engaged by some elements are not in the interest of the party.
